      School of Dentistry has remarkably contributed to the improvement of the oral health of the community covered by LUMS since its establishment in October 2012. Our faculty members have been diligently working and teaching at the School of Dentistry since the inauguration of student admission. This School annually admits 30 students selected among applicants as dentistry students. International students who are admitted to this School are provided with the most advanced dental facilities utilized for training accomplished dental researchers and medical practitioners. Currently, there are 29 faculty members teaching over 350 students at the School of Dentistry. They endeavor to educate students in accordance with the highest educational standards of dentistry. As a professional educational institution, School of Dentistry offers both academic programs and patient care services in the modern clinic within the School allowing our students to train as specialists. The ultimate goal of the School of Dentistry is to become an internationally recognized dental school educating international students from all around the world. The programs offered by this school include Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dental Health Technician, and Dental Prosthesis Technician. Authorities of the School of Dentistry, affiliated to Lorestan University of Medical Sciences, are committed to the development and extension of educational departments and establishment of new dental research centers in near future. School of Dentistry comprises eight sections containing 32 versatile digital dental units, 3 sets of panoramic x-ray machines, 10 microscopes, an autoclave machine, and several other devices.
