Department of Nutrition commenced its operation at the School of Medicine in 1997 and remained one of the departments of this School until 2007. This Department was independently established at the School of Health and Nutrition with 3 faculty members, and admission of students for the B.S. program of nutrition began in 2008. Department of Nutrition currently utilizes the services of 6 faculty members.
