Responsibilities
· Attending all the sessions of the Research Council of the School
· Holding research sessions in order to investigate research programs
· Evaluation of new research programs and assistance in their execution
· Holding research workshops according to the requirements of the faculty members
· Prioritizing research plans of various educational departments at the School
· Planning and decision making in extending research activities according to the priorities of the School
· Evaluation of research activities of the faculty members
· Providing counseling services in various research fields
· Execution of all by-laws
· Informing about by-law letters and research circulars
· Informing about national and international conventions relevant to the educational departments at the School
· Planning and executing national seminars
· Providing required training to both the faculty members and students as to the most productive ways of implementing extracted information from scientific sources
· Surveying and administering the activities of the affiliated units such as the Library, the Audio-Visual Center and the IT Center
· Supervising the student research center to enhance promotion in all domains and to improve quality and quantity in research fields
