Responsibilities:
· Supervising the implementation of research projects at the School of Pharmacy
· Preparing the annual schedule of research projects
· Confirming and authorizing the implementation of research project based on available regulations and bylaws
· Determining the research priorities of the School through cooperation with the departments
· Participation in the sessions of research committees
· Supervising the preparation and compilation of the periodicals of the School
· Assessing the research activities of faculty members and other affiliated units
· Supervising the preparation and publishing of books and periodicals
· Evaluating and confirming the data and information associated with research projects and submitting them to the officials of the School of Pharmacy and LUMS
· Assessing the research projects approved by the Research Council of the School and contributing to their accomplishment
· Contributing to the accomplishment of theses and dissertations
· Authorizing the translation and production of books by faculty members
· Holding educational and research workshops
